ClickHouse has announced the formation of ClickHouse Labs, a dedicated research group aimed at advancing database technologies, architectures, and infrastructure. Led by prominent database expert and Carnegie Mellon University professor Andy Pavlo—who joins as Vice President of Database Research—the team will focus on optimizing query processing, systems performance, and infrastructure for both ClickHouse and PostgreSQL.
